Property Defacement and Learning to Cleanup

So while I was cleaning up from dinner I gave Vin his crayons to play with. He decided to color the kitchen floor and dining room wall. I was surprised he was able to color the kitchen floor without me noticing since our kitchen is tiny and I was in it but I guess I was engrossed in dishes. As expected the crayon came off the floor but the wall still bares the mark of his artistic expressions.

Admiring his handy work. If you look closely you can see the scribbles on the floor in the background.

In other news, he is also now completely infatuated with our swivel sweeper. Last night he swept the floor until the battery died at which time he threw the most fantastic tantrum. Guess he was having fun. He actually did a decent job because the floor looked great afterwards.

Such a great helper...but he just thinks he's having fun! I say let them have fun and clean in the mean time!! Benjamin loves using the Swiffer which is also a nice thing because then I don't have to do it!!

Woah! You can totally start paying for his college education now - just start renting him out as "Vin the RoombaToddler."
Charge by the hour or per room :-D Or perhaps have his artwork appraised - if the experts think he has "the gift" - those wallmarks could bring in the bucks as well...

Anyway, what a joy to see all that branching out - feeding himself so well, exploring new horizons with every day. You go, Buddy! You're just the apple of the Lord's eye.

Much love,
MommaGum

P.S. CONGRATULATIONS on the newest little male Gello-to-be, too!!! What a blessing :)

Well in true fashion to his dad's side of the family writing on things is a regular. Just keep an eye on the cat or she may have a some highlights added to her coat.
Wow child labor laws you have broken in that house. Although he is pretty handy with that thing.

Love,
